Osteoarthritis, herniated disc(s), spinal stenosis, spondylolisthesis and spasm are the chief causes of cervical pain. Poor posture may lie behind many of the people diagnosed with each of these problems, and poor posture is probably the most common cause of cervical pain in itself. this may be standing posture or sitting posture. Our approach is first to identify the cause of the pain with a thorough physical examination, and subsequent tests as necessary, and then to treat you in the most innocuous and effective manner that is appropriate. The key is to find the cause, and proceed from there. Once again, the pain is a symptom, and behind it lies the cause.
